Corn Maze!

There's nothing like the Fall! This Friday we are attempting to have a low-key Friday night and enjoy a little bit of Fall flavor. I am finally checking off my to-do list going to a local corn maze.

Between football weekends, trips, and just general weekend-busyness, I never seem to have enough time to do all the things I love to do outside in this season. Here are some of my fav's. Some day, I will do all of these in one season, and take full advantage of the crisp air and blue skies!

* Corn Maze (check!)
* Apple picking
* Go to a fall fair or festival and ride the rides
* Hayride
* Camp-out (with a tent and air mattress, thanks) with a bonfire and s'mores
* "Hike" in the mountains (on at least some sort of a path. I am not what you'd call a "hiker" per se...)
* Rake leaves and jump in them (oh wait, that requires a yard)

Ok so on second thought, my blog's title seems to fit me well here - Buckhead Betty seems to like the idea of some of these, but not the actual hardcore DOING them. Props to those of you who go out and camp and hike for a weekend, and take care of your yards. For now, I will prop open my condo's sliding door, and admire the changing leaves. Someday, I might venture out and "camp." :)

If you would like to come to our house and rake, I would be more than willing to let you jump in the leaves! We have a very large yard with lots of trees...

Haha you know, its actually not a half bad idea... And I'm pretty serious, this is something that I liked doing when I was a kid :)
