Bright and Springy

Go away, spring showers! Time for some fun and bright colors to replace those darker, wintery ones. And what better place to start (girls) than with your nails?

I already shared with you the fun Sonia Kashuk Ocean Breeze turquoise color I picked up last spring at Target after seeing it in a Marie Claire spread. I love this color!
From the website, it doesn't appear that it's available anymore (sad days), but I do love this Tutti Frutti color instead!
After talking with my Van Michael stylist on Saturday about all sorts of new fashion, she recommended a new green color from Essie. Arriving at ULTA, I didn't see that particular one, but DID see (and immediately purchased) this fab kelly green called Pretty Edgy.
You guys. I am LOVING this on my toes right now. This is one of my favorite greens around -- it probably has to do something with my Irish nature :)

To tame out the brights on the toes, I suggest going barely-there on your fingers, especially if you are a working professional and might get some odd looks for green hands. Essie's Ballet Slippers is famous for a reason, because it gives off a fantastic and subtle skin-tone-pink sheen.
Not that painting my fingers green didn't cross my mind. A few times.
