Cakes and Cocktails

This update is a short and sweet post, literally! Coming up Thursday evening over at Lenox Square -- Caketails for a Cause, running from 6-8PM at Bloomingdale's. This looks adorable!

"Caketails for a Cause" brings together your favorite treats cocktails, shopping and dessert - and all for a good cause! Gather your best friends for a fun night including cake-themed cocktails created by mixologists from Buckhead Life Restaurant Group's Bluepointe, Nava and Bistro Niko (can anyone say German Chocolate Caketail?), shopping (it's Friends and Family week at Bloomingdale's which means lots of great bargains!) and a good old fashioned bake sale with delicious treats from some of our favorite local bakeries. All proceeds from the event (ticket sales, bake sale, raffle and 10% of any purchases made at Bloomingdale's) will benefit Share Our Strength, a national organization working to make sure no child in America grows up hungry. The event will include a raffle for fabulous prizes including baked goods and Bloomingdale's merchandise.

The $25 ticket gets you access to an open "caketail" bar and appetizers. Sounds like a fun ladies night if you are looking for something to do around town!
