These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

J Crew gets my heart beating every time I open my mail slot and find one of their oversize catalogs waiting for me.

Too bad their $200 prices inevitably put a damper on that joy.

But that doesn't mean I still can't notice the fashion details included within, and keep them in mind for when I am planning out my own Target and LOFT-budget outfits.

Here, some of my Fall issue favs ...

Open toe sandals and textured tights. Something that seems off, but totally works. I am already working on this one in my head.

Oh my, this skirt is fantastic. I can't help being attracted to the Game-Day Gold, either :)

Speaking of Game Day Gold, that coat is to die-for. But the shoes on the left caught my eye too. Total prep meets 1960's in both of these looks.

Loving the all-crimson ensemble underneath, especially the way they have paired the heavier sweater with the light and puffy skirt, then belting it all up.

Casual glam -- how swank yet easy!

Hello, lover. These bridesmaids/black-tie dresses are fantastic. My personal favorites -- the lower row of the top image, and all the ones on the lower image except the beige one. The details make them really stand out, especially when compared to plain strapless ones.

What other styles have caught your eye in Fall catalogs?

OMG, I am dying over all of J Crew's fall things as well! Also, "game day gold" is one of my favorite fall colors... so much so that everyone tells me I should have gone to Tech! Haha.
