Monday Musings

Hello friends! What a weekend, what a weekend ... as always, right?! We had a blast of a time over in Columbia, SC for our cousin's Masters graduation, and then spent some quality time here in our Buckhead neighborhood with dinner and a movie on Saturday, too. Pricci still ranks right up there as one of my all-time fav stand-bys for a great night on the town. Their bread basket and dipping sauce are to. die. for. So is the rest of their menu, especially the pasta. You really can't go wrong with whatever you pick.

Now I am back in the saddle with work and other things, and am attempting to also get back on the WW wagon, too. Part of the WW program is working through times of ups and downs, and focusing on eating (and drinking) the "right" way more often than not. March and April? More so "not" for me, but that doesn't mean life is over.

I've always wanted to be able to run in a sports bra. Not that I would. I just want the ability to :)

As a jump-start to the whole eating-right part, this week I am challenging myself to a personal goal of doing 30 minutes of physical exercise every single day this week. Knowing myself, I will probably run/jog tonight and then be sore tomorrow, but that is part of my challenge -- I will just work out different muscles than the sore ones the next day, instead! Tennis, weight lifting, walks and bike rides are all on my to-do list. All are free and literally right in my backyard, so my excuses for skipping them are small, especially if I just aim to hit 30 measly minutes. I have to get over this sedentary/workaholic hump, and so today is Day #1 of back to my active self!

Are you enjoying the Spring weather with fun physical activities? Share your favs and we can all get inspired!

PS. I was inspired today to reach this goal by the WW "Countdown to Summer Challenge." Check out the details here.
